South Wellfleet Vacation Packages

Dune Crest accommodations were beautifully renovated. Room was clean and had an amazing view of the bay from our balcony. Comfortable bed. Nice size refrigerator. Great lounge chairs on the balcony. Private. Small suggestions and critique—We wished we had a keurig for morning coffee. The AC unit was loud and kept turning on and off throughout the night, rather than a constant noise. One other thing… the walls between units were easy to hear our neighbors who kept very late hours. High Head Beach was within biking distance, which was one of the highlights of our trip. The resort had a beach bag with towels for us to use which was a nice surprise. P-town was only a short drive away which we loved. The pool was refreshing and clean. We took advantage of the included continental breakfast both mornings we were there. Good variety of good to choose from and staff was there to make sure items were well stocked and areas were clean. We would definitely come here again! We really loved our stay!

Hotel is updated and has a lot of good points but I would not stay there again. Be aware that the lobby closes so if you arrive at night you will be looking for the key and carrying your belongings in in the pitch dark because there is no lighting at all! The good: updated rooms, nice outdoor space, convenient location, walk to shops and restaurants is about 20 minutes or so. The bad: beds are on the floor on a very slightly raised platform--perhaps 8" or so high. Great for kids but I don't think most adults appreciate this and should be avoided by anyone elderly or with mobility issues. Bathroom was very dark and there was limited area to place your things around the sink. No dresser of any kind and only a single luggage rack in double room. Absolutely no privacy to the outside. Rooms have sitting areas outside which is good and bad. Good because you have a place to sit and bad because people are constantly outside your door and windows. We had a very loud group next door sitting outside out room and it was very noisy. The price really reflects the convenient location in PTown and definitely NOT the hotel room and amenities. Staff at the desk was nice enough but it would have been nice to be forewarned that the lobby closes by a certain time. We would have planned to arrive earlier. Breakfast spread was typical-teas, coffees, fruit, pastries, bagels, cereals, etc. There are vegan options. All in all it was just okay. We would not choose to stay there again.

Location

This place is awesome, super close to everything, and you can walk everywhere. They hook you up with coffee vouchers for the shop around the corner, which was a sweet treat every morning. The parking lot is tiny, but if you back in with a bigger car, it's way easier to get in and out. Our room and bathroom were spotless, and we even had our own private entrance outside the hotel. I'd totally stay here again, my only beef is the thin walls – you can hear people coming and going in the halls at night, which was a bit annoying. Still, we had a great time!
